| Summary | 0000680: QT6 build CMakeLists.txt issue with workaround | ||||
| Description | Running cinelerra-gg-qt6/cinelerra-5.1/tools/build_qt6.sh produces the error: CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:65 (pkg_check_modules): Unknown CMake command "pkg_check_modules". A separate confusing issue for users who might have just installed a basic O/S without FFmpeg installed is that running cinelerra-gg-qt6/cinelerra-5.1/tools/build_qt6.sh for the first time reports: MISSING requirement ... FFmpeg 7 Better to remove the "7" for those 6 libraries as that seems to indicate version 7 as opposed to any later version is a requirement. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | ./cinelerra-gg-qt6/cinelerra-5.1/tools/build_qt6.sh | ||||
| Additional Information | Perhaps there is a dependency that is missing on my Fedora 44 system AND since Andrea is running Arch and having the same problem, it may also be present on other O/S. WORKAROUND: add the line "find_package..." as shown below to cinelerra-5.1/CMakeLists.txt before line 65 (which is: "pkg_check_modules(X11 REQUIRED IMPORTED_TARGET x11)": find_package(PkgConfig REQUIRED) | ||||
