| Summary | 0000205: Cinelerra does not start without root rights | ||||
| Description | I can't start the latest version of Cinelerra as a normal user anymore and get a crash all the time. If I start Cin as root, everything works fine. The bug has only low priority for me, because I can work normally as root. I will send you the dump by e-mail. | ||||

He is looking at the dmp now. Strange -- I logged in as an ordinary user and it worked for me. Will let you know. |
I started normally with no root privileges. I ever compile Cin with no root privileges. |
Local build error -- it happens. |
Re-opening because there still may be a problem, but we have not been able to figure it out for sure. |
I have always suspected the libva and libvdpau libraries will cause some user and distro errors. |
