| Summary | 0000041: Flickering in the listbox to the left of Resources Folder / Mouse over issues | ||||
| Description | (This was IgorB + Sam note 97 and 100 as a new issue). IgorB note: I just tested with new "ub16", more or less as in v4t's Description. In add I used "m" shortcut to mute audio area. For those I did't see any problem but in Resources window there are issues, now: flickering on the lists (to the left) and the Vicon Preview don't work well, mouse over doesn't work. Look at the screencast, please (I hope you can see). https://www.datafilehost.com/d/d07e90a6 Sam note: I also observed this behavior, but I could still assign it correctly, because it only occurred sporadically. I can confirm the reported bug of Igor. | ||||

@IgorBeghetto: Today we booted Ubuntu 16 and tried to reproduce "flickering on the lists (to the left) and the Vicon Preview don't work well, mouse over doesn't work." We could not. We also had tried this earlier on the 9th on 2 Fedora systems with no success in reproducing. It is very obvious it exists in your demo. Do you have any more information on creating this problem? We specifically used the Proxy folder in trying to reproduce on Ubuntu 16 but tried with Media folder on Fedora too. I also changed some of the Settings->Preferences flags but mostly used the default thumbnail size/memory/color. |

Phyllis, I tried very little but that issue no longer appeared. I don't know. If Sam, agree with me, we could close that issue. If it reappears, and I have more information, we could open a new Issue. With the new testing "Ub16" built dated Dec 14 2018, I saw that you answered to my question in the mailing list https://lists.cinelerra-gg.org/pipermail/cin/2018-December/000032.html : "if you have many tracks on timeline (let say more than five?) with the Inter-View you find the X coordinate on timeline but not the Y (which track?)". Really good. So we can see, on the Inter-View, the edits points of the Armed tracks and, if we only armed a track, we can see exactly the points of the media on that track. (A demo video would be need for the users). Thanks. |

The issue has not occurred since the latest versions. I think we can close the ticket. |

Most probable cause was a "bad build". GG was going through a lot of changes at this time so perhaps the ubuntu16 build provided to IgorBeghetto for testing was just a little off. |
